This year for Trócaire, each class decided to do something special and together we raised £440. P1/2 and P5 held a raffle while P3/4 had a competition to guess the number of eggs in the jar. Shea (P3) won this with a guess of 185. The actual number was 183.
The Easter Egg winners in P1/2 were Rochádh, Ciragh, Rogan, Annie, Pearse, Ollie, Charlie and Daniel.
In P5 the winners were James (Football), Peter (Art kit), Issy, Lainey and Rosie (Easter Eggs)
P6/7 had a hula-hooping contest and the big one- Soak the Staff!
Ava-Belle was the winner of the hula -hoop contest lasting an impressive 11 minutes and 47 seconds!
This was a memorable day for both staff and pupils. The six unlucky winners were Mrs Paul, Mrs Henning, Mrs Lynch, Mrs Kearney, Mrs Doyle and Mr Geoghegan. Each child lined up to soak the sponge and aim for their target and all was going well until someone got the water gun and the hose out. I'm sure the cheers could be heard in Kilcoo.
