As part of our topic 'People Who Help Us', we had local dentists Dermot Morgan and Aisling visit us to talk about how they help us. We learnt about what foods are good for our teeth and what foods aren't as good. They told us how and when to brush our teeth in order to keep our teeth healthy. We were very grateful for the travel toothbrushes and toothpastes they brought in for the children.
They also made time to visit the P3/4 classes in our school to speak to them about the importance of looking after their teeth. Angela had the chance to be the dental assistant for her daddy and did a great job handing out the toothbrushes to her class.
A huge thank you to Mr Morgan and Aisling for coming into our school and sharing their knowledge!
