We were very lucky to have Ben, from the Castlewellan Historic Demesne in school today, who delivered a workshop on heritage and biodiversity. We learnt many facts related to Castlewellan Forest Park itself, and what a valuable asset this is to have, right on our doorstep! The children really enjoyed making badges and forest animal masks to finish off. 🐿️🦊🦋🍄
