Gaelic Football Tournament
29th May 2025
For the first time in a while St.Paul's fielded both a boys and a girls team going to Annaclone today for a great day of football.
The girls mixed from P5-P7 gave it their all, winning 2 matches and losing 1 but ended up going through to the final. In the final, the girls gave it their all, pushing the winners Annaclone to the end and showing great determination. An amazing performance especially with 4 out of the 8 girls being P5. Congratulations to Annaclone for a good victory.
The boys have shown great skills throughout the year and today was no different. The boys went unbeaten through the groups playing 5 matches. This meant a final against Annaclone. In a great nip and tuck final that could have went either way, unfortunately the boys fell short but did themselves proud. Congratulations to Annaclone. Great to see us competing with these larger schools.
A huge thank you for the invite and for a great day of Gaelic football.
