Earth Day 2024
22nd Apr 2024
The first Earth Day was held in America in 1970. It was started to encourage people around the world to think and learn about what we can do to look after our planet. Today, P3 and P4 learned about lots of ways to help look after our world, like turning off lights, recycling, turning off the taps, planting trees and flowers and picking up litter. They coloured posters and displayed them out towards the playground so all the other pupils can see them. Hopefully it will encourage others to think about the Earth and how they can help too.
