Congratulations to our boys who have competed this week in two tournaments.
We first travelled to Drumgath for a small school blitz. The boys played well as a team winning two out if three games.
Our P5 and P6 boys travelled to St. Colman's, Newry in a tournament with 25 teams. The boys grew steadily into the group losing their first match but then played extremely well remaining undefeated in the next four. This meant our lads ended up in the shield competition. After 2 very competitive matches the boys went through to the final. In a tight match the boys ended up getting beat by 1 point with a late free kick. They played excellently all day and showed a great attitude.
Special mention to Cathaoir, who received one of the two players of the tournament.
