Our boys and girls both took the field today at Clonduff GAC to take part in the group stages of Cumann na mBunscoil against Grange, Finnis and Drumaroad.
In a great day of football, both our teams produced great performances. The girls started against a strong Drumaroad side and despite all their efforts, they fell short. This did not diminish their hopes as they went on to beat Finnis and Grange in 2 tightly contested matches. Great work from our girls.
The boys started their 3 matches against Drumaroad, showing great skills and coming away with the win. They did the same against Finnis and ended up playing Grange in a winner takes all affair. The boys stepped up and showed great character to win putting them through to the all-county semi-final. Great work boys.
